Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong background in developing advanced localization and mapping technologies, particularly in the context of autonomous driving. With expertise in C++ and Python, you are well-versed in implementing state-of-the-art SLAM algorithms for real-time localization and mapping. Your experience includes working with multi-modal sensor inputs such as cameras, IMUs, GPS, and wheel encoders, allowing you to develop robust online and offline state estimation methods for complex environments.
You possess a deep understanding of 3D geometric vision problems, including VSLAM, VIO, and scene reconstruction. Your ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams across perception, planning, and robotics ensures the seamless integration and deployment of SLAM systems in production-level autonomous vehicles. You are passionate about leveraging cutting-edge geometric vision techniques to advance the future of mobility.
What you'll do
As a Senior SLAM Engineer at 42dot, you will lead the design and implementation of advanced SLAM algorithms that are critical for the localization and mapping of autonomous vehicles. You will focus on developing robust SLAM pipelines that fuse data from multiple sensors to accurately estimate the vehicle's pose and reconstruct its surroundings in real-time. Your role will involve tackling complex urban and highway environments, ensuring that the SLAM systems you develop are reliable and efficient.
You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, contributing your expertise to ensure that SLAM systems are effectively integrated into the overall architecture of autonomous driving solutions.
