Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, preferably in an engineering discipline, and possess strong programming skills in Rust, C, and C++. Your background includes middleware or framework development on Linux-based platforms such as Tizen, AGL, or GENIVI, and you have a solid understanding of distributed systems and real-time data processing.

You are familiar with messaging frameworks like DDS, gRPC, and MQTT, and you have a knack for problem-solving and debugging complex systems. Your experience in system profiling and debugging will be invaluable as you optimize and maintain the system framework for Pleos Vehicle OS.

Desirable

You are a Rust programming language expert and have hands-on experience with Data Distribution Service (DDS). Your familiarity with system profiling and debugging tools will help you ensure the quality and performance of the frameworks you develop.

What you'll do

As a System Framework Engineer at 42dot, you will design and develop the system framework for Pleos Vehicle OS, focusing on optimizing and maintaining its performance. You will implement core common frameworks that include standard interfaces, system resource management, distributed messaging frameworks, lifecycle management, and fault tolerance frameworks. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that the frameworks meet the needs of SDV applications and services.

You will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of the system framework, from design through implementation and optimization. You will also engage in quality assurance processes to ensure that the frameworks are robust and reliable. Your contributions will directly impact the efficiency and effectiveness of the applications developed at 42dot.
