Overview
42dot is seeking a Software Engineer for their AD Framework team to develop middleware solutions for autonomous driving systems. You'll work with Linux and RTOS platforms, ensuring automotive safety and reliability.
Job Description
Who you are
You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, and a strong understanding of ADAS system architecture and middleware pipelines. You are familiar with performance optimization methodologies and have experience developing software for distributed systems.
You possess knowledge of ISO 26262 and related system development standards, ensuring that the software you develop meets automotive safety requirements. Your experience includes working with Linux and RTOS platforms, particularly FreeRTOS, and you are comfortable engaging in all phases of the software development lifecycle.
What you'll do
As a Software Engineer at 42dot, you will design, develop, and deploy middleware software solutions that enable safety-critical features for autonomous driving systems. You will collaborate with application developers and cross-functional teams to support seamless middleware integration, participating in design and code reviews to contribute to technical analysis and key decision-making processes.
You will build and maintain development tools to support debugging, testing, and validation, ensuring that the software systems you deliver meet high standards of automotive reliability and safety. Your role will involve engaging with remote teams across multiple countries and time zones, fostering effective communication and collaboration.
