You have a strong background in security operations with at least 5 years of experience in identifying and responding to complex security incidents. Your expertise includes conducting continuous monitoring, vulnerability assessments, and log analysis to ensure the integrity of systems. You are proficient in using tools like Splunk and Wireshark to analyze security events and incidents. Your experience with AWS and Linux environments allows you to effectively engage with various teams to validate alerts and ensure incident resolution.

You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to collaborate effectively with vendors, Infrastructure, IT, GRC, Cloud, and Application Security teams. You are detail-oriented and have a growth mindset, always looking for ways to improve security processes and practices. You thrive in a team environment and are committed to acting with integrity and accountability in all your endeavors.

What you'll do

As a Staff Security Engineer at 6sense, you will execute on milestones for end-to-end SecOps and Threat initiatives in accordance with the Security roadmap. You will identify and respond to complex security incidents, including system compromises and intrusion attempts, ensuring that the organization is protected against potential threats. Your role will involve continuous monitoring of security events and conducting vulnerability assessments to proactively address security risks.

You will engage with various teams across the organization, including Infrastructure, IT, GRC, Cloud, and Application Security, to validate alerts and ensure timely incident resolution. You will also perform root cause analysis to understand the underlying issues of security incidents and develop strategies to prevent future occurrences. Your contributions will be vital in shaping the security posture of 6sense and ensuring the safety of its operations.
