Who you are
You have 5+ years of experience in security engineering, particularly in application security, and a strong understanding of AI/ML systems. Your background includes leading security initiatives and implementing security controls for complex systems. You are skilled in vulnerability management and familiar with tools like SAST and DAST, ensuring robust security for applications and data flows.
You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with engineering, product, and data science teams to integrate security into the development lifecycle. Your ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders is a key strength, allowing you to advocate for security best practices effectively.
What you'll do
In this role, you will drive platform security initiatives with a primary focus on securing AI/ML systems and models. You will lead the design and implementation of security controls for AI/ML models, pipelines, and data flows, ensuring that security is embedded in every aspect of the development process. You will also manage vulnerabilities related to both AI/ML and traditional application security, utilizing SAST, DAST, and dependency scanning tools to identify and mitigate risks.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that security measures align with business objectives and regulatory requirements. Your responsibilities will include conducting security assessments, developing security policies, and providing guidance on secure coding practices. You will also stay updated on the latest security threats and trends in AI/ML to proactively address potential vulnerabilities.
