Job Description

Who you are

You are a Senior Technical Project Manager with a strong background in managing complex, science-heavy programs. You thrive in ambiguity and have a knack for building structure in chaotic environments. Your ability to translate between scientists, engineers, and customers makes you an ideal candidate for this role. You have experience leading multi-partner programs from inception to completion, ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned and that projects stay on budget and on schedule. Your attention to detail ensures that the deliverables produced are defensible and of high quality, standing up to technical review and public scrutiny.

You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to effectively manage relationships with government agencies, utilities, and other regulated customers. You are comfortable working with field data collection and scientific advisory/consulting, and you understand the importance of leveraging technology to deliver insights. Your technical fluency enables you to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring that everyone is on the same page throughout the project lifecycle.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the execution of complex programs that combine field data collection and software-enabled deliverables. You will manage budgets and schedules, de-risk execution, and produce high-quality deliverables that meet the needs of government agencies and utilities. Your responsibilities will include aligning stakeholders, managing multi-partner collaborations, and ensuring that all project milestones are met. You will also be responsible for translating technical requirements into actionable plans, ensuring that all team members understand their roles and responsibilities.

You will work closely with scientists and engineers to ensure that the data collected is accurate and actionable. Your role will involve regular communication with stakeholders to provide updates on project progress and to address any concerns that may arise. You will also be responsible for conducting technical reviews of deliverables to ensure that they meet the required standards. Your ability to navigate complex project dynamics will be crucial to the success of the programs you manage.

What we offer

Aclima offers a fulfilling work environment where you will collaborate with world-class colleagues to make a positive impact on public health and the environment. In addition to competitive compensation and equity potential, we provide excellent benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and a 401K plan. You will also enjoy wellness credits, company events, and a culture that values teamwork and innovation. Join us in pioneering a new way to monitor and respond to air pollution, and help us improve planetary health.
