You have over 5 years of accounting experience in a similar environment, demonstrating a strong understanding of financial principles and practices. Your educational background includes a Bachelor's Degree in Finance and Accounting, equipping you with the necessary knowledge to excel in this role. You possess advanced English proficiency, and knowledge of German, Italian, or French is a valuable asset that enhances your communication skills in a multinational setting.

Your expertise in Microsoft Excel is complemented by your familiarity with ERP systems, allowing you to efficiently manage financial data and reporting. You have a solid background in US GAAP and IFRS, ensuring that all financial statements and reports comply with regulatory standards. Your attention to detail and high level of discipline enable you to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy in your work.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for the monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing of the entities based in EMEA, which includes conducting trend analysis and balance sheet reconciliation. You will prepare and file VAT returns and all necessary tax returns, ensuring compliance with local regulations. Additionally, you will oversee the preparation of annual Statutory Financial statements, which are crucial for maintaining transparency and accountability in financial reporting.

You will manage internal and external communications with various stakeholders, including tax offices, banks, auditors, and consultants, fostering strong relationships that facilitate smooth operations. Your responsibilities will also include overseeing accounts payable and payments, ensuring that all transactions are processed accurately and timely. You will play a key role in controlling the financial activities of the EMEA entities, assisting in the development of internal reporting and conducting ad hoc analysis as required to support decision-making processes.
