You have extensive experience in compliance monitoring within the payments or finance industry, ideally with over 5 years in a similar role. Your strong fundamentals in risk and control make you a valuable business partner, capable of connecting with diverse teams including risk, legal, finance, and sales. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously, providing pragmatic advice to enhance compliance processes sustainably.
You possess excellent leadership skills, having supervised team members in executing quality assurance testing procedures. Your ability to drive the development of oversight methodologies over first-line business processes is a testament to your strategic thinking and operational expertise. You are committed to fostering a culture of compliance and ensuring that all team members are aligned with the compliance oversight program.
Your communication skills are top-notch, allowing you to articulate complex compliance issues clearly and effectively to various stakeholders. You understand the importance of candidate experience and are dedicated to creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for all applicants. What you'll do
In this role, you will lead the planning and execution of the annual compliance monitoring program, ensuring that all compliance activities are aligned with regulatory requirements and internal policies. You will drive the development of an oversight methodology that enhances first-line business processes, ensuring that compliance is integrated into the fabric of the organization.
You will supervise team members in executing second-line quality assurance testing procedures, providing guidance and support to ensure that all compliance monitoring activities are conducted effectively. Your leadership will be crucial in creating a culture of accountability and continuous improvement within the compliance team.
You will collaborate closely with various teams, including risk, legal, finance, and sales, to provide pragmatic advice and guidance on compliance matters. Your ability to connect with different stakeholders will be essential in driving compliance initiatives forward and ensuring that all teams are aligned with compliance objectives.
You will also be responsible for managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that all compliance activities are completed on time and to a high standard.
