Who you are
You have a strong background in compliance, ideally within the fintech sector, and are well-versed in the regulatory landscape that governs financial services. Your experience includes developing and implementing compliance programs that align with business objectives while ensuring adherence to legal requirements. You possess excellent analytical skills, allowing you to assess risks and develop strategies to mitigate them effectively.
You are a proactive communicator who can engage with various stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, internal teams, and external partners. Your ability to translate complex compliance requirements into actionable insights is a key strength. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are motivated by the opportunity to make a significant impact on the organizationβs compliance posture.
What you'll do
As the Singapore Compliance Officer, you will report directly to the Group Head of Compliance and be responsible for leading all compliance-related activities within the organization. This includes developing, implementing, and maintaining compliance policies and procedures that align with regulatory requirements. You will conduct regular compliance audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and ensure that the company adheres to all relevant laws and regulations.
You will also be responsible for training and educating employees on compliance matters, fostering a culture of compliance throughout the organization. Collaborating with various departments, you will provide guidance on compliance issues and support the development of new products and services to ensure they meet regulatory standards. Your role will involve staying updated on changes in legislation and industry best practices, ensuring that Aspire remains at the forefront of compliance in the fintech space.
