Desirable

Experience with card issuing systems or digital wallets is a plus. Familiarity with network tokenization and security standards in financial technology will set you apart. You are also open to exploring new technologies and methodologies that can enhance your team's performance and the platform's capabilities.

What you'll do

In this role, you will drive the technical roadmap for expanding Adyen's card issuing capabilities. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that the platform meets the highest standards of reliability, performance, and security. Your leadership will guide the team through a period of rapid growth, ensuring that they are equipped to handle the increasing demands of the business.

You will be responsible for overseeing the execution of projects that enhance the wallet offerings, including integrations with Apple Pay and Google Pay. Your ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders will be essential as you align technical goals with business objectives. You will also play a key role in fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within your team.

As an Engineering Manager, you will conduct regular one-on-ones with team members to support their professional development and provide constructive feedback. You will also be involved in the hiring process, identifying top talent to join your team and contribute to the success of the Issuing Platform.
