Overview

Adyen is seeking an Event Marketing Manager to define and drive their event strategy in Japan. You'll own the local event calendar and execute high-impact events that align with commercial goals. This role requires strategic planning and execution skills.

You have a proven track record in event marketing, with experience in developing and executing successful event strategies that drive engagement and commercial results. Your creativity and analytical skills allow you to balance innovative event concepts with data-driven insights, ensuring that each event resonates with the target audience. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with marketing teams to align initiatives with broader business objectives. Your strong organizational skills enable you to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that all aspects of event planning and execution are handled seamlessly. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and are adept at adapting strategies based on feedback and results. You understand the importance of building relationships with stakeholders and partners to enhance event impact.

Desirable

Experience in the financial technology sector or with B2B marketing is a plus, as is familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms that can enhance event promotion and engagement. A background in data analysis will help you measure the success of events and refine future strategies.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for building a comprehensive local event strategy and annual calendar in close partnership with the Country Marketing Manager. You will ensure that all initiatives align with Japan’s commercial goals and the global marketing vision. You will own the full lifecycle of event marketing programs, which includes objective setting, concept creation, content development, campaign setup, landing pages, registration management, and on-site execution. You will conceptualize and execute proprietary events that not only delight our merchants but also drive tangible commercial results. Your role will involve collaborating with various teams to ensure that events are well-promoted and executed flawlessly, creating memorable experiences for attendees. You will also analyze event performance metrics to inform future strategies and improve overall effectiveness.
