What you'll do

As a Senior Software Engineer at Adyen, you will be a key member of the Banking Network Global Development team. Your primary responsibility will be to design and implement the core messaging and external communication layers of our payment infrastructure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our financial products meet the highest standards of quality and performance.

You will be involved in the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design to implementation and maintenance. Your role will require you to write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews to uphold best practices within the team. You will also have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and expertise to help them grow in their careers.

In addition to technical responsibilities, you will collaborate with product managers and other stakeholders to understand customer needs and translate them into technical solutions. You will be expected to stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve our products and processes.
