You have 5+ years of experience in software engineering, particularly in building high-volume payment systems. Your expertise in Java and Spring allows you to design and implement robust solutions that handle millions of transactions efficiently. You are comfortable leading complex technical projects from requirements analysis through to production launch, ensuring best engineering practices are followed throughout the process. You thrive in collaborative environments, working across teams and time zones to deliver impactful results. Your problem-solving skills enable you to tackle unique technical challenges at scale, and you are motivated by the opportunity to innovate within the financial technology space.
What you'll do
As a Senior Software Engineer on the Bank Payments Team, you will lead the development of high-volume payment methods such as ACH and EFT Pre-Authorized Debits. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive the strategic transition of merchants to a new acquirer under Adyen's U.S. Bank license, unlocking new features and capabilities. Your role will involve hands-on coding, as well as mentoring junior engineers and sharing your knowledge of best practices. You will also be responsible for managing the integration of cutting-edge Pay by Bank solutions, utilizing Open Banking features for secure data sharing and direct debit initiation. Your contributions will directly impact the efficiency and effectiveness of payment processing for major clients like Meta and Microsoft.
