Who you are

You have a strong background in electrical engineering with a focus on hardware design, particularly in mixed-signal PCBs. Your experience includes developing system architectures for complex systems, ideally in the fields of robotics or autonomous systems. You are proficient in using tools like Altium Designer for PCB design and have a solid understanding of embedded Linux systems. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working closely with cross-functional teams to bring innovative products to life.

You possess excellent problem-solving skills and can navigate the challenges of designing hardware that meets stringent performance and reliability standards. Your ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders is one of your key strengths. You are passionate about advancing technology in the fields of automated driving and robotics, and you are eager to contribute to projects that have a significant impact on the future of autonomy.

What you'll do

As a Senior Electrical Engineer at Aeva, you will be responsible for the design, development, and testing of mixed-signal PCBs that are integral to our LiDAR systems. You will collaborate with other electrical engineers to define the specifications and functions of individual PCBs, ensuring they meet product requirements and performance standards. Your role will involve creating system architectures that integrate various components of our LiDAR technology, allowing for enhanced sensing and perception capabilities.

You will participate in the entire product lifecycle, from initial concept through to production, working closely with manufacturing teams to ensure designs are feasible and cost-effective. Additionally, you will conduct testing and validation of your designs, troubleshooting any issues that arise during the development process.
