Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience in analytics engineering or a related field, with a strong focus on finance data. Your expertise in SQL and data modeling allows you to create reliable and governed data models that support financial reporting and reconciliation processes. You are a hands-on technical leader who thrives in collaborative environments, working closely with Accounting, Finance, and Data Engineering teams to improve data quality and controls.

You possess a deep understanding of data governance principles and have successfully implemented strategies that ensure data integrity and audit readiness. Your ability to translate complex financial requirements into actionable data contracts and model specifications sets you apart. You are passionate about leveraging data to drive business outcomes and enhance decision-making processes.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the end-to-end delivery of finance data models that support reconciliations and journal entry preparation. You will own the strategy and execution of the Financial Reporting semantic layer, ensuring its governance and adoption across various reporting surfaces. Your leadership will drive the migration and modernization of reconciliation and close-support reporting into standardized, automated outputs, enhancing efficiency and accuracy.

You will partner with Accounting and Finance stakeholders to translate close and audit requirements into durable data contracts and delivery roadmaps. Your focus on building and evolving reporting data products will make financial insights easily accessible to stakeholders, ultimately elevating the outcomes of the Finance function. You will also mentor and guide your team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.
