Job Description
Who you are
You have 5+ years of experience in analytics engineering or a related field, with a strong background in finance data management and reporting. You are skilled in SQL and have a deep understanding of data modeling and governance, ensuring data quality and reliability in reporting processes. Your leadership experience allows you to effectively manage teams and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, including Accounting and Finance.
You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to translate complex data requirements into actionable insights and deliverables. You are detail-oriented and have a proven track record of improving data quality and controls in financial reporting environments. Your hands-on technical expertise allows you to guide your team in implementing scalable data solutions that meet audit readiness standards.
Desirable
Experience with financial systems and reporting tools is a plus, as is familiarity with automation in data workflows. You are comfortable working in a remote environment and can adapt to the needs of a growing team.
What you'll do
In this role, you will lead the end-to-end delivery of finance data models that support reconciliations and journal entry preparation. You will own the strategy and execution of the Financial Reporting semantic layer, ensuring governance and adoption across various reporting surfaces. Your responsibilities will include driving the migration and modernization of reconciliation reporting into standardized, automated outputs, enhancing efficiency and accuracy.
You will partner closely with Accounting and Finance stakeholders to translate their requirements into durable data contracts and model specifications. Your leadership will be crucial in building and evolving reporting data products that simplify financial insights for the organization. You will also focus on improving month-end outcomes at scale, ensuring that your team delivers high-quality, audit-ready reports.
