Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience in product management, particularly in financial services or fintech. You possess a strong understanding of accounting principles and have successfully managed product roadmaps that involve complex financial data systems. Your ability to translate technical requirements into actionable product specifications is a key strength, and you thrive in collaborative environments where you can work closely with engineering and accounting teams.

You are detail-oriented and have a knack for ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Your experience includes defining product specifications that align with audit requirements and implementing controls that enhance the integrity of financial reporting. You are comfortable navigating the intersection of technology and finance, and you have a proven track record of delivering products that meet both user needs and regulatory standards.

What you'll do

In this role, you will own the financial reporting product roadmap, focusing on subledgers, standardized accounting-event interfaces, and journal-entry flows. You will work closely with engineering teams to define subledger patterns and the Accounting ↔ Engineering interface, ensuring that accounting-event schemas and API contracts are well-defined. Your responsibilities will include translating accounting policies into product specifications and implementing SOX controls to ensure compliance.

You will lead the matching and reconciliation strategy, running vendor evaluations and defining reconciliation rules. Your role will require you to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data and platform teams, to ensure that the financial data journey from engineering systems to the general ledger is seamless and efficient. You will also be responsible for driving product innovation and ensuring that the financial reporting infrastructure supports rapid growth and scalability.
