You have a strong background in indirect tax management, particularly in the fintech and payments sectors. With at least 5 years of experience, you understand the complexities of VAT, sales tax, and digital services tax. Your analytical skills allow you to navigate tax regulations across various jurisdictions effectively.

You are a collaborative team player who enjoys working closely with product and legal teams to ensure compliance and provide tax advisory services. Your communication skills enable you to articulate tax implications clearly to stakeholders at all levels.

What you'll do

As the Indirect Tax Manager at Agoda, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of indirect tax related to our payments and fintech products. This includes overseeing VAT, sales tax, GST, and other relevant taxes on a global scale. You will ensure compliance with local and international tax regulations, providing guidance to the broader Tax and Finance team.

You will lead initiatives to streamline tax processes and improve compliance efficiency. Collaborating with product teams, you will assess the tax implications of new products and services, ensuring that all tax obligations are met from the outset. Your role will also involve staying updated on changes in tax legislation and advising the company on necessary adjustments to maintain compliance.
