Desirable

Experience in a multinational corporation or a similar industry is a plus. Familiarity with tax software and tools will enhance your effectiveness in this role. A professional certification in tax or accounting would be advantageous, as would fluency in multiple languages, given the international nature of the business.

What you'll do

In this role, you will manage all tax matters related to indirect taxes for Agoda, ensuring compliance with local and international tax regulations. You will collaborate with the Finance team to prepare and submit tax returns accurately and on time. Your responsibilities will include maintaining relationships with tax and legal advisors to navigate complex tax landscapes effectively. You will also be involved in training and advising internal teams on tax compliance matters, ensuring that all departments are informed and aligned with tax regulations. As the company expands, you will play a crucial role in assessing the tax implications of new business initiatives and providing strategic recommendations. You will monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on the organization, ensuring that Agoda remains compliant and minimizes tax liabilities.
