Who you are
You have extensive experience in actuarial science, with a strong background in financial strategy and risk management. You possess the ability to analyze complex data and provide insights that drive decision-making. Your communication skills allow you to effectively collaborate with executive leadership and various stakeholders, ensuring that all parties are aligned on the financial strategies for AirCover's global insurance programs. You are detail-oriented and have a strong understanding of actuarial modeling, pricing, reserving, and capital adequacy analyses. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously.
What you'll do
As the Lead Actuary, you will be responsible for shaping the financial strategy and risk framework for AirCoverβs global insurance programs. You will collaborate with our captive insurance company and in-house insurance agencies, as well as external partners including brokers and insurance companies. Your role will involve conducting actuarial modeling and pricing analyses to support self-insured exposures and risk-transfer mechanisms. You will provide strategic insights to executive leadership and ensure that the financial strategies align with the overall goals of the AirCover team. You will also be tasked with monitoring and analyzing the performance of insurance programs, making recommendations for improvements as necessary.
