Who you are
You have 5+ years of backend engineering experience, particularly in developing and refining major subsystems that power hosting services. You have a strong understanding of system architecture and are adept at identifying patterns to streamline development processes. Your technical expertise allows you to present deep dives into technical and product aspects to stakeholders effectively.
You possess deep expertise in Java and Spring, having shipped high-quality, scalable APIs that handle significant traffic. Your experience includes supporting day-to-day operations and ensuring that systems are efficient and always available. You are comfortable working in a collaborative environment, engaging with teams across different locations, including San Francisco, London, and Paris.
You are a strategic thinker who can establish a technical vision and deliver flexible solutions that scale with business needs. You bring unique skills and thought leadership to the team, contributing to the overall success of the hosting services project.
Desirable
Experience with cloud services, particularly AWS, is a plus. Familiarity with agile methodologies and a passion for improving user experiences in hosting services will set you apart.
What you'll do
