You have a strong background in mobile development, particularly with Android, and are passionate about creating user-friendly applications that enhance productivity. You understand the nuances of mobile-first design and have experience in developing applications that are both functional and visually appealing. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with product managers and designers to define and execute on product roadmaps. You are proactive in your approach, taking ownership of projects and driving them to completion while ensuring high standards of quality and performance.
You possess excellent analytical skills, allowing you to visualize data effectively to inform product decisions. You are comfortable working autonomously and are committed to maintaining the reliability and safety of the applications you develop. Mentoring and providing feedback to teammates is something you value, as you believe in fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented team culture.
Desirable
Experience with cross-platform mobile development frameworks or familiarity with backend technologies would be a plus. A keen interest in user experience design and a portfolio showcasing your previous work would also be beneficial.
What you'll do
In this role, you will take full ownership of the Airtable Android application, from designing and building new features to testing and maintaining existing functionalities. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management and design, to define the product roadmap and ensure alignment on project goals. Your responsibilities will include analyzing user data to drive insights and inform development decisions, as well as validating technical specifications for your solutions with the broader engineering team.
You will work closely with quality assurance to ensure that the applications you develop are safe, effective, and reliable. Your role will also involve mentoring junior team members, providing them with guidance and feedback to help them grow in their careers. You will be expected to iterate on existing features, rethinking and redesigning them to create a seamless mobile experience for users.
