What you'll do

As a Senior Backend Engineer on the Platform team, you will design and build services that autonomously control satellites and monitor telemetry for anomalies. Your work will provide real-time situational awareness to keep the fleet safe and operational. You will be responsible for developing the core components and services that power the software organization, enabling teams to move faster and more reliably.

You will engage in the full software development lifecycle, from initial design through deployment and monitoring. This includes writing clean, maintainable code, conducting code reviews, and collaborating with other engineers to ensure best practices are followed. You will also be involved in troubleshooting and resolving issues that arise in production, ensuring that the software operates flawlessly under all conditions.

Your role will require you to stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends, applying them to improve the systems you work on. You will also have opportunities to mentor junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and helping them grow in their careers.
