Job Description
Who you are
You have 3-5 years of dedicated Accounts Payable experience, demonstrating a strong understanding of high-volume invoice processing and financial controls. Your attention to detail ensures that invoices are processed accurately and in compliance with company policies. You are familiar with Three-Way Matching, which involves verifying that the Purchase Order ties to the vendorβs invoice, and you can assign the correct General Ledger codes to processed invoices.
You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to represent AKQA to external vendors in a highly professional and customer-focused manner. You are committed to providing exceptional service to AKQA employees submitting invoices for processing and reimbursable expenses. Your ability to execute weekly payment runs via ACH/wire is crucial in maintaining the company's financial obligations.
What you'll do
In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing AKQA's financial obligations, ensuring that all invoices are processed accurately and payments are made on time. You will assist the accounting team by ensuring all invoices for the period are accrued or booked by the cutoff date. Your responsibilities will include processing vendor invoices and reimbursable expenses promptly and accurately, while following the necessary processes to remain compliant.
You will work closely with the accounting team to maintain financial controls and best practices related to Accounts Payable. Your role will support AKQA North America, and you will be working on US hours (Eastern time). You will also be responsible for obtaining pertinent approvals and necessary paperwork to ensure compliance with company policies.
