Who you are
You hold a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree from a top-tier institute and have a solid foundation in quantitative analysis. You possess experience in data analysis and market research, which allows you to identify and enhance trading strategies effectively. Your analytical skills are complemented by a disciplined and systematic approach to problem-solving, enabling you to automate trading strategies successfully. You have a detailed understanding of risk management procedures and are comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams, particularly with technology experts to improve electronic trading systems.
What you'll do
As a Quantitative Analyst at AlphaGrep, you will be part of a dynamic trading group focused on executing fast algorithmic strategies based on market behavior. Your primary responsibility will be to identify, maintain, and enhance trading strategies that align with our market-making algorithmic trading teams. You will analyze trading performance and financial time series data using fundamental statistical theories to derive actionable insights. Additionally, you will construct financial models, conduct back-testing, and continuously improve existing strategies to ensure optimal performance. Collaboration is key in this role, as you will work closely with the technology team to understand and enhance our electronic trading systems, ensuring they are robust and efficient.
