You are a highly experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer with a strong background in software quality assurance and automation testing. With 5+ years of experience, you have a proven track record of designing and implementing automated testing solutions that ensure product quality and reliability. You are proactive and creative, always looking for ways to improve processes and support your team's success. Your collaborative nature allows you to work effectively with software engineering and product management teams, driving QA strategy and setting technical standards.

You possess deep expertise in automation tools and frameworks, particularly with Java and Python, and have hands-on experience with Selenium for automated testing. Your understanding of Kubernetes and microservices architecture enables you to develop scalable testing solutions across various platforms. You are also familiar with cloud-based infrastructure, which enhances your ability to deliver seamless user experiences through robust test automation.

Desirable

While you have a strong foundation in QA automation, you are open to learning and adapting to new technologies and methodologies. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and agile development practices is a plus, as is familiarity with performance testing tools. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are comfortable mentoring junior QA engineers and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the design and development of automated test plans, suites, and frameworks across multiple projects. You will work closely with engineering teams to ensure that applications meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. Your responsibilities will include developing and maintaining automated tests, driving QA strategy, and defining best practices for testing and quality assurance.

You will also mentor QA and engineering team members, helping them grow their skills and knowledge in automation testing. By collaborating with product management, you will ensure that user experience is at the forefront of your testing efforts. Your role will involve continuous improvement of testing processes and tools, as well as maintaining a positive, problem-solving mindset in the face of challenges.
