You possess a solid understanding of Vision-Language models and Reinforcement Learning, which are critical for enhancing the capabilities of AI agents. You are willing to step outside typical role boundaries to get things done, as every member of the technical staff is expected to write code, design experiments, and interpret results.

What you'll do

In this applied research role, you will contribute directly to the development of AI agents, focusing on improving their multi-modal perception and visual-reasoning abilities. Your daily responsibilities will include model training, dataset design, and pre- and post-training optimization, ensuring that the agents are equipped with the necessary skills to perform effectively. You will collaborate with a small, talent-dense team, leveraging the resources and scale of Amazon to pursue high-risk, high-payoff research.
