Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong background in ASIC design and development, with experience in RTL design and the integration of large subsystems. Your expertise includes gate-level simulation, where you have developed and maintained comprehensive test plans to verify ASIC functionality and timing. You are skilled in analyzing simulation results, identifying logic errors, and proposing effective solutions. Collaboration is key for you, as you work closely with design and verification engineers to validate fixes and ensure design closure.
You understand the importance of seamless integration across various components, including firmware, RTL, platform software, and platform drivers. Your experience includes developing debug tools, performing silicon bring-up, and conducting functional validation. You are adept at working with system architects to develop world-class SoC and IP blocks that meet power, area, and performance targets. You are familiar with low power design and the impact of DFT on blocks, and you have performed initial synthesis and timing analysis.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for the RTL design and development of custom blocks for the Amazon Leo initiative, which aims to provide broadband connectivity through a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites. You will integrate large subsystems and develop comprehensive gate-level simulation test plans to ensure ASIC functionality and timing. Your role will involve analyzing simulation results, debugging logic errors, and collaborating with design and verification engineers to validate fixes.
You will facilitate seamless integration across firmware, RTL, platform software, and platform drivers, ensuring that all components work together effectively. Additionally, you will develop debug tools and assist in silicon bring-up and functional validation. Your contributions will be crucial in defining, configuring, and integrating SoC subsystems, as well as contributing to the SoC floor planning effort. You will also define and develop any necessary support logic and configure, instantiate, and integrate third-party IP blocks.
