Who you are

You have a strong background in automation engineering, with experience in controlling and troubleshooting key systems. Your expertise allows you to work effectively with various stakeholders to ensure that all systems are well-documented and maintained. You are comfortable interpreting mechanical and electrical drawings and developing strategies that comply with IEC 61131-3 standards. You thrive in collaborative environments, working with colleagues globally to install and commission new equipment.

You possess a solid understanding of data analysis and can leverage data to optimize equipment availability. Your problem-solving skills enable you to tackle complex productivity issues, and you are proactive in participating in continuous improvement projects. You are detail-oriented and ensure that all documentation is accurate and up-to-date, contributing to the overall efficiency of operations.

What you'll do

As an Automation Engineer at Amazon, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal functioning of automated systems. You will control, troubleshoot, and repair issues related to key systems, working closely with the EU control network to monitor equipment indicators. Your role will involve providing internal stakeholders with data representations related to troubleshooting and actively participating in continuous improvement projects led by the EU control network. You will collaborate with various departments to ensure that all systems are properly documented and that accurate backup libraries are maintained.

You will also work with colleagues worldwide to install and commission new equipment, bringing your expertise to support other sites within the EU control network as needed. Your ability to interpret mechanical and electrical drawings will be crucial as you develop strategies for compliance with industry standards. You will play a key role in optimizing processes and ensuring that our automated systems operate at peak efficiency, ultimately enhancing the customer experience.
