Who you are
You have a strong background in automation engineering, with experience in ensuring the optimal functioning of automated systems. You are skilled in troubleshooting and repairing key system issues, and you have a solid understanding of control systems and sensors. Your ability to analyze data and optimize equipment availability is crucial to your success in this role. You are familiar with IEC 61131-3 standards and can interpret mechanical and electrical drawings effectively. You thrive in collaborative environments, working with colleagues globally to install and commission new equipment. You are proactive in participating in continuous improvement projects and ensuring accurate documentation of all systems.
Desirable
Experience with data representation and stakeholder communication is a plus. Familiarity with the EU control network and its indicators will enhance your contributions. You are comfortable working with various departments to maintain up-to-date backup libraries and documentation.
What you'll do
In this role, you will control, troubleshoot, and repair issues related to key systems, ensuring that automated processes run smoothly. You will collaborate with the EU control network to monitor equipment indicators and provide data representations to internal stakeholders. Your participation in continuous improvement projects will be vital as you work to enhance system performance. You will also work closely with different departments to ensure that all systems are properly documented and that backup libraries are maintained accurately. Additionally, you will support other sites within the EU control network as needed, contributing to a cohesive operational strategy.
