Who you are
You have B2B/SME sales and business development experience, ideally from the shipping and logistics industry — you thrive in an entrepreneurial environment and are not hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities. You are street-smart and result-oriented, constantly striving to expand your understanding of metrics and the industry. Collaboration is key for you, but you are equally data-driven and analytical, ensuring that you create effective account management strategies to retain and grow shipper relationships.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for managing and growing relationships with key shipper accounts. You will deliver a positive experience to assigned shipper accounts, winning volume and revenue while maintaining hygiene parameters. Developing your individual account management strategy at a shipper level will be crucial, as will understanding and reinforcing the value proposition and creating joint business plans with shippers. You will take proactive and reactive measures on key business parameters like operations, claims, and receivables to ensure the best results for customers.
