You have a strategic mindset and strong business judgment, with experience in negotiating deals within the music industry. Your ability to balance creative and business objectives allows you to maintain excellent relationships with internal and external stakeholders. You are skilled in interacting with agents, managers, production companies, and outside attorneys, ensuring the best outcomes for all parties involved.
You bring a wealth of experience in music business affairs, having worked closely with creative executives, production, legal, and finance teams. Your understanding of the music landscape enables you to navigate complex negotiations effectively, ensuring that all agreements align with Amazon MGM Studios' objectives. You are adept at handling music-related issues that arise during development, production, and marketing phases.
What you'll do
In this role, you will provide deal-making services for the ambitious music needs of Amazon MGM Studios content. You will negotiate and oversee deals for the creation and distribution of original music for Movies and Series, working with composers, songwriters, music supervisors, recording artists, music publishers, and record labels. Your collaboration with Legal and Outside Counsel will be crucial in finalizing agreements that support the studio's music strategy.
You will be responsible for executing deals that align with Amazon MGM Studios' business objectives, ensuring that all music-related agreements are beneficial and strategically sound. Your role will involve close collaboration with various teams, including creative executives and production, to ensure that the music enhances the overall content produced by the studio.
