Overview
Amazon is seeking a Business Intelligence Engineer for the SCOT AIM team to build and scale analytics solutions that drive critical business decisions. You'll work with SQL, AWS, and Power BI to optimize supply chain metrics and inventory management.
Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong background in business intelligence and analytics, with experience in designing and developing end-to-end analytics solutions that monitor and optimize supply chain metrics. Your expertise in SQL and AWS allows you to create interactive dashboards and automated reporting systems that enable deep-dive analysis of inventory performance across multiple dimensions. You are skilled in building predictive models for seasonal demand forecasting and inventory planning, supporting critical business events and promotions. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with Product Managers, Scientists, and Supply Chain Managers to drive improvements in business outcomes.
Desirable
Experience with Power BI and Tableau is a plus, as is familiarity with Python for data analysis. You have a keen understanding of customer behaviors and can spot system defects, benchmarking the ability to serve customers effectively. Your analytical mindset enables you to create scalable solutions for tracking deal inventory readiness and channel share management.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be instrumental in building and scaling analytics solutions that drive critical business decisions across inventory management and supply chain optimization. You will collaborate with Product Managers to understand customer behaviors and improve a wide range of internal products that impact selection decisions both nationally and regionally. Your responsibilities will include designing and developing analytics solutions to monitor supply chain metrics, creating interactive dashboards, and building predictive models for inventory planning. You will also partner with category and business teams to ensure the best results for customers, leveraging your analytical skills to enhance business outcomes.
