What you'll do
In this role, you will lead the Advertising Trust Data team, acting as the single source of truth for all data related to ad moderation across Amazon. You will manage and develop a high-performing BI team responsible for creating and maintaining robust data infrastructures, dashboards, and reports. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with peers in Science, Tech, and Operations teams to identify systemic issues and prioritize work based on customer impact. You will drive a culture of operational excellence, ensuring that your team consistently delivers high-quality data solutions.
You will create and manage mechanisms to allocate BI team resources effectively, focusing on solving the most impactful customer needs. Your role will involve facilitating support for emergent issues, ensuring that your team is responsive and agile in addressing challenges as they arise. You will also be responsible for mentoring team members, providing training opportunities, and fostering their professional growth. By leveraging your expertise in AWS and SQL, you will guide your team in utilizing the latest technologies to enhance their efficiency and effectiveness.
