You have 5+ years of experience in supply chain and procurement, specifically within the energy infrastructure sector. Your strong analytical and financial acumen allows you to dive deep into data center capacity planning and construction processes, ensuring that you can make informed decisions that drive efficiency and reduce risks. You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to collaborate effectively with internal business partners and suppliers. Your hands-on approach to managing large-scale supply chain and procurement improvement projects sets you apart as a leader in your field.

Your background includes proven experience in natural gas trading operations and market dynamics, giving you a comprehensive understanding of the pipeline infrastructure, including EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) and O&M (Operations & Maintenance) scopes. You are well-versed in contract negotiations and have a solid grasp of the natural gas extraction, production, and transportation processes, which are critical for this role. Familiarity with upstream processes and the natural gas value chain further enhances your qualifications.

What you'll do

As a Senior Category Manager at Amazon, you will create and implement sourcing strategies for energy infrastructure procurement categories, focusing on optimizing costs and driving efficiencies.
