Who you are

You are a motivated and data-driven procurement category manager with a strong background in supply chain and procurement. You possess analytical and financial acumen, along with excellent communication capabilities. Your hands-on passion drives you to dive deep into processes used in data center operations, ensuring that you understand every aspect of the supply chain.

With proven skills in managing large-scale supply chain and procurement improvement projects, you think strategically and globally. You are collaborative but also work with significant autonomy, demonstrating a high level of customer focus and business judgment. You embrace and model Amazon’s Leadership Principles, showcasing an entrepreneurial spirit in your approach to challenges.

What you'll do

In this role, you will create and implement sourcing strategies within the construction services space, collaborating with internal business partners and suppliers to drive efficiencies, reduce risks, and cut costs for Amazon. You will develop mechanisms and metrics to hold suppliers accountable for performance and delivery, ensuring that all projects meet Amazon's high standards.

Your responsibilities will include driving results through competitive bidding, negotiating contracts, and analyzing data and market trends for your category. You will communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, influencing decisions and fostering strong relationships with suppliers. Your analytical mindset will help you identify opportunities for improvement and implement innovative solutions that enhance procurement processes.
