What you'll do

As a Clinical Analyst on the Disability Leave Services (DLS) team, you will serve as a vital mental health resource, managing complex cases related to Mental Health Wellness (MHW). Your primary responsibility will be to assist case managers by providing clinical recommendations and co-management activities for short-term disability (STD) and accommodation claims. You will ensure that claims involving behavioral health diagnoses are administered effectively, facilitating optimal outcomes for employees.

You will collaborate with various stakeholders, including case managers and accommodation specialists, to ensure that all aspects of disability and accommodation cases are addressed from a clinical perspective. Your role will involve analyzing cases, providing insights based on clinical knowledge, and ensuring that decisions made are medically sound. You will also be responsible for knowledge sharing within the team, helping to elevate the overall clinical understanding of the group.

In addition to case management, you will play a key role in developing and refining processes related to disability management. Your insights will help shape the program, ensuring that it meets the needs of employees while aligning with organizational goals. You will also be involved in training and mentoring new team members, sharing your expertise to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
