Who you are
You have a strong background in regulatory compliance engineering, particularly in the context of consumer electronics. With at least 5 years of experience, you are well-versed in RF systems and EMC design, ensuring that products meet stringent regulatory standards. Your analytical skills allow you to navigate complex compliance challenges effectively, and you excel in cross-functional collaboration, working closely with various teams to drive design for compliance. You are proactive in staying updated on evolving global wireless spectrum standards and requirements, and you have a proven track record of engaging with regulatory agencies to facilitate market access for innovative products.
Desirable
Experience with hands-on testing, debugging, and validation activities is a plus. Familiarity with global regulatory compliance schemes will enhance your ability to contribute to the team. You are also comfortable mentoring junior engineers, sharing your knowledge, and establishing best practices within the team.
What you'll do
In this role, you will lead efforts to ensure that Amazon's consumer electronics comply with North American and worldwide regulatory standards. You will develop and execute strategies to address evolving global wireless spectrum standards, engaging with regulatory agencies to facilitate compliance. Your responsibilities will include solving complex compliance challenges through research and hands-on testing, as well as debugging and validation activities. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive design for compliance, ensuring that innovative wireless products meet all necessary requirements. As a technical lead, you will establish standardized approaches and best practices, mentoring team members and fostering a culture of compliance excellence.
