What you'll do

As a Senior Construction Manager at Amazon, you will be responsible for managing the construction of new Fulfillment Centers and renovations at existing facilities. You will lead the project management process from site selection through contract execution, ensuring that all aspects of the construction meet Amazon's high standards. Your role will involve collaborating with developers and general contractors, serving as Amazon's representative on-site.

You will implement facility network infrastructure, including sortation centers and delivery stations, and ensure that all construction projects align with operational needs. Your responsibilities will also include conducting deep dive reviews of job budgets and schedules, working closely with contractors to ensure accuracy and compliance with project specifications.

In this role, you will engage with various stakeholders, including internal teams responsible for equipping and operating the facilities. Your ability to integrate construction efforts with broader operational goals will be crucial to the success of the projects you oversee. You will also be expected to mentor junior team members and contribute to the continuous improvement of construction processes within the organization.
