You have extensive experience in customer solutions management, particularly within the public sector, and a deep understanding of AWS services and cloud transformations. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with sales, support, solutions architecture, and engineering teams to deliver exceptional outcomes for customers. You possess strong organizational skills, enabling you to manage multiple projects and customer engagements simultaneously. Your proactive approach to problem-solving means you anticipate challenges and develop innovative solutions to help customers succeed in their cloud journey.
Your experience in leading educational initiatives and governance aspects of cloud adoption is invaluable, as you guide customers through the complexities of AWS. You are passionate about helping organizations leverage cloud technology to achieve their goals and drive transformation.
Desirable
Experience with large-scale cloud migrations and familiarity with public sector requirements are highly desirable. Any certifications related to AWS or cloud technologies will enhance your candidacy, as will a background in project management or customer success.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for guiding AWS Public Sector customers through their multi-year journey to the cloud. You will ensure that all AWS teams work together effectively to deliver outcomes for the customer, acting as a critical partner throughout the process. Your responsibilities will include managing cadence by leading reporting and tracking functions, executing education plans, and aligning business outcomes with customer milestones.
You will interface with both customer and AWS leadership, driving collaboration between core account groups and product/engineering teams. Your role will involve planning and supporting major workload migrations, ensuring that customers receive the best possible support and guidance.
You will also be responsible for translating strategic initiatives into executable actions, working backwards from key customer milestones. This includes leading Executive Briefing Sessions and go-live events, as well as managing transitions to ensure a smooth experience for customers.
Your proactive approach will help you identify customer challenges and develop innovative solutions to address them. You will leverage your expertise in AWS to provide insights and recommendations that drive customer success and satisfaction.
