What you'll do
As a Data Center Operations Manager at Amazon, you will be operationally responsible for a data center, overseeing the performance of your team and ensuring efficient management of day-to-day operations. You will prioritize and assign trouble tickets to data center technicians and operators, ensuring that issues are resolved promptly. Your role will involve recruiting and training data technicians to maintain appropriate staffing levels and developing career paths for your employees. You will also participate in site-level project work, innovating solutions to complex problems within the data center space. You will create documentation to support operational processes and ensure that all team members are aligned with operational goals. Additionally, you will manage hardware logistics and queue management, ensuring that the data center operates smoothly and efficiently.
