What you'll do

As a Data Center Technician, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the operations of AWS data centers. Your responsibilities will include installing equipment, performing hardware and network repairs, and ensuring that all systems are functioning optimally. You will collaborate with a diverse team of engineers and specialists to deliver the highest standards for safety and security in the data center environment. Your role will require you to be available for travel within and outside of the regional work area as needed.

You will be part of a team that operates 24/7, and your contributions will directly impact the efficiency and reliability of AWS services. You will work on challenging problems that involve thousands of variables impacting the supply chain, and you will have the opportunity to innovate and implement solutions that enhance data center operations. Your work will support millions of businesses and services worldwide, making your role critical to the success of AWS.

What we offer

Amazon offers a competitive starting pay for this position, which ranges from $27.00 to $47.00 USD hourly, depending on experience and qualifications. Starting on Day 1 of employment, you will have access to a range of benefits, including EAP, Mental Health Support, and a 401(k) matching program.
