Who you are

You are a detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of hardware and network diagnostics — you thrive in environments where you can solve complex problems and ensure the smooth operation of critical infrastructure. You have experience working with AWS and are comfortable with Linux systems, which allows you to effectively troubleshoot and repair issues as they arise.

You enjoy collaborating with a diverse team of engineers and specialists, understanding that teamwork is essential to maintaining high standards for safety and security in data center operations. Your ability to communicate effectively with team members across various disciplines ensures that you can contribute to the overall success of the AWS infrastructure.

What you'll do

As a Data Center Technician at Amazon, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the heartbeat of the world's most innovative technology platform. Your responsibilities will include performing in-depth hardware and network diagnostics followed by physical repairs, ensuring that all AWS data centers operate at peak efficiency. You will participate in an on-call rotation, addressing any urgent issues that may arise to minimize downtime and maintain service continuity.

You will work closely with software, hardware, and network engineers, as well as supply chain specialists and operations managers, to tackle the most challenging problems in data center operations. Your contributions will directly impact the capacity and reliability of AWS services, supporting millions of businesses and services worldwide.

What we offer

Amazon provides a competitive hourly wage ranging from $29.00 to $52.00, depending on experience and qualifications. You will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment that values innovation and encourages you to bring bold ideas to the table.
