You are a motivated individual with a strong interest in technology and data center operations. You have experience in hardware and network diagnostics, and you are comfortable performing physical repairs. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are eager to learn from a diverse team of experts in software, hardware, and network engineering.

You understand the importance of maintaining high standards for safety and security in data center operations. You are detail-oriented and can manage multiple tasks effectively, ensuring that the cloud infrastructure remains operational and efficient. You are ready to participate in an on-call rotation and respond to urgent issues as they arise.

What you'll do

As a Data Center Technician at Amazon, you will play a critical role in maintaining the heartbeat of AWS's global cloud infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include performing in-depth hardware and network diagnostics, followed by physical repairs to ensure that all equipment is functioning optimally. You will collaborate with a diverse team to support all AWS data centers, focusing on servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment.

You will be involved in troubleshooting and resolving issues that impact data center operations, ensuring that our customers have continual access to the services they rely on. Your role will require you to work closely with other technicians and engineers to implement best practices and maintain the highest standards of operational excellence.

What we offer

Amazon provides a competitive hourly wage ranging from $29.00 to $52.00, depending on experience and qualifications.
