What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for the operational ownership and technical evolution of a mission-critical enterprise data platform. You will develop, maintain, and optimize business-critical applications and data pipelines that support over 1,600 active users. Your work will directly impact Whole Foods Market's ability to manage financial operations, set pricing strategies, and plan promotions effectively. You will collaborate closely with teams in Finance, Merchandising, and Pricing to understand their data requirements and troubleshoot any issues that arise. You will also be involved in report generation and application development, ensuring that the data systems are robust and scalable.
You will work with a diverse technology stack, including Amazon Redshift, PostgreSQL/RDS, and various AWS services, to manage data ingestion and ETL processing. Your role will require you to respond to production incidents promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
