Who you are
You are an entry-level Data Engineer with a strong foundation in building and maintaining data pipelines. You have experience working with SQL and various AWS technologies, and you are eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment. You enjoy collaborating with cross-functional teams, including business analysts and software developers, to design and implement data solutions that drive business insights.
You possess a basic understanding of data warehousing concepts and have worked with both SQL and NoSQL databases. You are familiar with big data technologies such as Hadoop and Apache Spark, and you are excited about the opportunity to work with AWS services like Redshift and ElasticSearch. You are detail-oriented and have a passion for data-driven decision-making, always looking for ways to optimize and improve data processes.
What you'll do
In this role, you will design, implement, and support analytical data platform solutions that enable data-driven decisions and insights. You will work on designing data schemas and operating internal data warehouses, ensuring that data is accessible and usable for various teams. You will interface with other teams to extract, transform, and load data from a wide variety of sources using AWS big data technologies.
You will have the opportunity to explore and learn the latest AWS technologies to provide new capabilities and increase efficiency. Your responsibilities will include working on data lake platforms and different components such as Hadoop and Amazon S3.
