What you'll do

As a Data Scientist II at Amazon, you will partner with business stakeholders to deeply understand the challenges faced by the Amazon Private Brands Selection Guidance organization. You will investigate business problems using data, applying your expertise in Machine Learning and statistics to develop actionable insights. Your role will involve building data pipelines and performing data analysis to support strategic business decisions related to product assortment, pricing optimization, and merchandising.

You will contribute to current research areas such as named entity recognition and agentic AI, helping to shape the future of Amazon's private brands. Your work will have a direct impact on customer satisfaction and business performance, as you develop ambitious science solutions that address some of the toughest challenges in the industry. You will also have the opportunity to prototype and implement your ideas, ensuring they are brought to life in a production environment.
