What you'll do

As a Data Centre Electrical Engineer Apprentice, you will take part in the day-to-day operations of data centre electrical systems, ensuring they operate reliably 24/7. You will carry out routine maintenance checks on critical power equipment, learning to monitor and operate electrical distribution systems safely and efficiently. You will assist in conducting equipment testing and maintenance activities, gaining valuable hands-on experience in the field.

You will learn to operate and interpret Building Management Systems (BMS) to monitor facility performance, which is crucial for maintaining optimal conditions in the data centre. Your role will also involve supporting emergency response procedures, where you will apply your training to help ensure the safety and reliability of the data centre operations. Throughout your apprenticeship, you will receive guidance and mentorship from experienced engineers, helping you to grow your technical skills and knowledge in the industry.
