Who you are

You are an aspiring Engineering Operations Technician eager to join Amazon's AWS Infrastructure Services team. You are committed to safety and security standards and are willing to obtain an Australian Government Security Vetting Agency Clearance. Desirable

What you'll do

As an Engineering Operations Technician, you will be on the front lines of AWS data center operations, responding to equipment issues and ensuring that all systems are functioning optimally. You will perform hands-on troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical equipment, including generators, switchboards, and cooling systems. Your role will involve monitoring equipment performance and responding to alarms, ensuring that all safety protocols are followed.

You will collaborate with a team of engineers and specialists to maintain the highest standards of safety and security in the data center. This includes participating in regular training and development opportunities to enhance your technical skills and knowledge of AWS infrastructure. You will also assist in the planning and execution of maintenance activities, contributing to the overall efficiency of operations.
