What you'll do
As an Engineering Technician, you will serve as the on-site maintenance technician for an AWS data center. Your primary responsibilities will include operating and maintaining all electrical, mechanical, emergency generator, and fire/life safety equipment. You will collaborate with various teams to deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing reliable capacity for our customers.
You will be responsible for monitoring equipment performance, conducting routine inspections, and performing preventive maintenance to ensure optimal operation. Your role will also involve troubleshooting and resolving technical issues as they arise, ensuring minimal downtime for critical systems. You will participate in safety audits and contribute to the development of best practices for maintenance and operations.
